BE A PART OF THE BBF BASEBALL LEAGUES
Wed 28 Nov 2018
In 2019, we look forward to a great season of baseball. Next year will bring the first regular season Major League Baseball (MLB) games to Europe and they will be played in London (LONDONSERIES). The mentioned will bring a lot of interest in our sport, and we will be doing our part by offering playing opportunities through our organised baseball leagues (youth and adult). Annually as the National Governing Body (NGB) of our sport we oversee more than 1000 organised baseball games, which consist of over 7000 innings of action from our regular season, to our postseason and special events.
Over 1500 baseball athletes take part in our leagues, from all over the UK, with different skills and experience, diversified backgrounds, and for youth and adults.

On any given season weekend (forward looking calendar link) you can find players in our leagues who have top international experience, former or soon to be collegiate baseball players, Little League UK team champions, and our very own National Team players. Our coaches have national and/or international competition experience. Further, our umpires are recognised as some of the best e.g., officiating international Little League, CEB, PONY and other international events.
All teams from each division get a chance to qualify and take part in National Championships. Winners are declared the official British Baseball National Champion which are recognised internationally and by other baseball third parties e.g., WBSC, CEB, Little League, PONY and etc. So if you want to play organised baseball, find a BBF member club near you (link club map) and be a part of the BBF Baseball Leagues. Membership to the BBF is only reserved for member clubs. As a participant of one of our members clubs it allows you access to our baseball leagues and benefits.
Did you know? Over 90% of our National Team Players take part in our baseball leagues. In 2020, baseball is an Olympic sport.
