The National Baseball League Championships are made up of the playoffs and championship games (Finals). All teams taking part in the NBCs are eligible after competing in the NBL regular season and have adhered to the BBF rules.

The winner of the NBL National Championship receives:

The British Baseball Federation NBL Cup and is crowned the NBL Champion.

Considering your team competes in the BBF and as the National Governing Body of the sport, it is a member of the WBSC, the winner and runner-up of the Championship qualify to represent the BBF in the CEB European Federations Cup in 2019. The CEB Federations Cup is an annual baseball tournament reserved for NGBs sponsored teams to play against Europe's best teams, sanctioned and created by the Confederation of European Baseball (CEB). The inaugural season of the tournament was held in 2016 in Rouen, France and Chartres France.

MVP AWARD
The top player of the Finals (8 and 9 September) is awarded an MVP Award. The Award is based on the individual player which demonstrates the best skill and conduct throughout the Finals.
