Eric Anderson joins the Great Britain National Program this year as Head Coach of the 12U team.  He recently made a move to the UK from Northern California where he was the Head Varsity Baseball Coach at Arroyo High School.  At Arroyo, Eric amassed a record of 191-95-3 in 11 years at the helm, which included 7 League/Conference championships, 9 NCS playoff victories and the first ever North Coast Section Championship in school history in his last year, 2017.   He has earned League Coach of the Year honours three times and D-2 NCS Coach of the Year in 2017.  


For the past decade, he taught Physical Education at Arroyo HS and also previously spent three years teaching and coaching baseball at Coral Gables High School in Miami, FL where he was apart of a staff that helped develop three future MLB Big Leaguers.


Also, during the summer of 2006, he coached for the North Adams Steeple Cats in the New England Collegiate Baseball League.  He helped lead the team to a playoff birth and a 2ndplace finish in the Southern Division of the NECBL.


Anderson is a 2000 graduate of California State University, Hayward where he earned his B.S. in Kinesiology.  He also played Junior College baseball for both College of Sequoias and Porterville College in the Central Valley Conference.  Anderson attended Golden West High School in Visalia, Ca.  He and his wife of 17 years, Alexis and two sons, Xavier and Mateo moved across to the UK in 2018 and now reside in London.

NOTE: The following age divisions exist in our British Baseball Federation National Teams: U12, U15, U18, U23 and Seniors. Our Seniors division is our top division which competes internationally in the WBC, is internationally ranked by the and is attempting to make the Olympics (Tokyo 2020).
